Summer Uniform

Summer is coming to an end, and so are the days of wearing t- shirts, shorts, and a pair of flip-flops.

This weekend is the last long weekend before school starts, so get out and enjoy it! (Barbecues, cabin time, camp fires, etc.)
 It's a bit cooler outside so pair your shorts with a sweatshirt for a comfy, casual, and cute end of Summer look!

Purple Cheetah

I believe that every woman needs a silk blouse in her wardrobe.

Louie Loafers

I have never been the type of person to wear a pair of heels to work...I don't need to prove anything!
With that said, I am either in a loafer, ballet flat, or a pair of runners everyday.

These Louis Vuitton loafers are the comfiest "slipper" type flat that I own. (Granted they are called a "slipper," so I'm sure they are meant to be comfy, but still...)
The black and gold color are the perfect transitional shoe between Summer and Fall.

These shoes were a bit of an investment, but with the amount of times I've worn them, and plan to wear them, this purchase is completely justified!

Current Faves

It's so weird to think about how many articles of clothing I have in my closet, yet I always tend to gravitate towards the same type of outfit. 

My current favorite outfit is one involving a plaid shirt by Rails LA.

I must own over 10 shirts by Rails LA, and truly, no other flannel or plaid shirt compares. 

Rails LA shirts are so soft, comfy, and fashion forward, what more could one want?

This outfit is easy for day, yet you can throw on a pair of heels, and you'll be set for a night out!

Black Pig

When it's cold and rainy outside, what's a better way to spend your weekend than trying out a new restaurant?
I recently discovered "Black Pig Bistro" and I was very pleased with my find!
It's a quaint bistro, just off of downtown, and it's great that they are open for lunch as well as dinner.
Try it out, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Texture is what it's all about for the Fall season!
These 7 For All Mankind pants recently arrived in their stores and I knew I had to have them!
The pants are super stretchy, with a mix of a woven pattern on the front and back, and simple waxed denim on the sides.
These are a great transitional pant from Summer to the fast approaching Fall season.

Whenever I wear these pants, people call me one of the following:

I really don't mind what people say about these pants, I absolutely love them!
They're comfy, cute, and an instant conversation starter; much more exciting than a normal pair of denim!

Summer in the Hamptons Vibe

Navy and white look so nice with denim that a nautical inspired shirt and jeans is an easy outfit.
(The amount of navy and white striped shirts I have in my closet is a little bit excessive.)
I've paired this shirt with a light wash denim, trying to get some mileage out of my light jeans before the summer is over!
The nautical look is one that can be worn in all seasons and gives you an instant "I summer in the Hamptons" vibe!

Wearing a skirt with a simple tee can replace a pair of denim for a casual look.
When the days are still warm outside, it's a simple, easy, polished look with minimal effort.

Diner Deluxe-Aspen Landing

It's Friday!!! To me, weekends mean going out for dinner with friends and family, and of course...brunching!
Diner Deluxe is a place that you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all in one place!
The food was delicious and service was great, making the atmosphere an enjoyable experience!
All day breakfast, drinks on the patio, Sunday brunch...what more does one need in a restaurant?!

50 Shades of Grey

Technically it's only four shades of grey, but still...

The color grey may come across as boring, but I personally think it's the easiest color to wear!
