To me, you can pair it with either sneakers or heels and it looks equally cute with both!

I chose to dress mine up with my favorite Valentino Rockstuds; I feel it's the perfect look for a Friday night out!

Matchy Matchy

When I re-discovered this Celine bag of mine, I knew I had the perfect t-shirt/pant/shoe/jacket combo that would work great with the handbag!

I recently purchased a pair of Celine sunglasses, and what do you know... They match the bag perfectly as well!

The Polo

One of my favorite things to do in my free time is to look up "model off duty" looks on Pinterest. 

When I saw Kate Moss, Gigi Hadid, and many other top models rocking the polo shirt, I was in!

My brother gave me this Lacoste "Cool Cats" collaboration polo shirt as a hand-me-down, and the oversize fit is how I feel a polo should be worn. 

A slouchy polo, skinny jeans, and a pair of great heels... My take on the "model off duty look!"

Coordination is Key

To keep with my "Blue Monday" theme (stolen from my Dad, of course) the pop of blue from the handbag and sneakers is what makes this outfit! 

I can talk about each piece of this ensemble separately, due to the great quality and material of each specific item, but when put together, this is one of my favorite "go-to" easy looks. 

Adding bright colors, especially in Spring and Summer, is the easiest way to make a pair of jeans and a t-shirt a standout look. 

Coordinating both the Louis Vuttion bag and sneakers has been three years in the making; Louis Vuitton relaunched the blue color of the bag (originally from 2012) for the Spring 2015 accessories collection.  

Clearly, Louis Vuitton knows how much I love a good match!!

To me, the color pink is a neutral!

When I bought this "neutral" pink leather jacket, people were telling me that I would "barely wear it" due to the color.

Man... were those people wrong; I wear this jacket all the time!

Throwing a leather jacket on top of any outfit makes everything 100 times cooler!

If you don't have a leather jacket, please get one, your life changes for the better when you do!

Stripes, Stars, and Joggers

I can not get enough of Iro "Clay" shirts! 

The holes in the top add an edge to any outfit regardless of the color or pattern. 

These Paige Denim Joggers have been a staple in my wardrobe for years and with the jogger trend in full effect, I won't be getting rid of them anytime soon! 

Joggers are a great Spring / Summer pant; Ankle length with the right amount of warmth. 

If I could pass along one piece of "fashion advice" for the coming seasons, invest in a pair of joggers... You will not regret it!

Nothing makes me happier than randomly throwing on an outfit and having it all co-ordinate without thinking! 

The yellow writing on the sweatshirt matches the yellow on the back of my sneakers, and the little pop of pink on the left sleeve match my kicks perfectly! 

The beauty of this outfit is in the details... The unplanned, random, just so happened to work out, details.

Ela x Burt's Bees

Burt's Bees is a brand I have grown up with; I have been using their classic "Beeswax Lip Balm" since I was 12. 

When I saw that there was a way to purchase three great shades of Burt's Bees "Lip Crayons" as well as a cute makeup bag that helps a charity all in one... It was a no brainer! 

Holt Renfrew's "H Project" has teamed up with Ela and Burt's Bees to give us a special charitable collab! 

100% of the proceeds go to "Pollinator Partnership Canada," an organization dedicated to Bee health.

Triple Denim Day

I have been a fan of double denim for as long as I can remember, but triple denim... Even better!

The trick for a double and/or triple denim look is to make sure the color of all said denim doesn't match.

I know that sounds bizarre, but when the denim is a different wash, it adds more contrast, which I believe looks better!

What is more chic than an all black outfit?! 

Ladies have been wearing all black looks for years and it is something that will NEVER go out of style. 

Mixing textures in an outfit is the easiest way to add dimension to any ensemble.
