White and Grey

With Summer flying by, the window of opportunity to wear white jeans is getting smaller and smaller!

When shopping for white jeans, I will offer this one little tip:
- Make sure the white denim you decide on is NOT see-through!!

More often than not, the jean itself is thin with lots of elasticity, making for a comfy pant. However, when it comes to white jeans, it's better to have a thick denim, so worrying about what underwear to wear underneath them isn't an issue!

Can you believe today's the last day of July?! Crazy!

Double Denim... Short Edition

Chanel Sweatshirt

Sweatshirts have been having a great run for the past few years!
My first introduction into the "sweatshirt game" was this Chanel short sleeve number I got a few years ago.

It was a piece that I couldn't pass up and I persuaded my parents into getting it for me!
"I'll have it forever! Mom can borrow it, too! I think Beyonce has one!"  All those lines seemed to work, or my parents wanted to shut me up and broke down and bought the thing!

Regardless, most of my "persuasive lines" are true:
-I will have it forever
- My Mom can borrow it if she wants
- Beyonce does have one.

Lady Dior

It's Wednesday, so naturally some part of my outfit has to be pink. (I wouldn't want Regina George to be mad at me!)
I've mentioned my Mom and her style in previous posts, but what I have failed to mention is that she has the best handbags in town! In my humble opinion, of course.
She let me borrow this Lady Dior bag and I never want to give it back!

Simple Sunday

The classic look of jeans and a white tee will never go out of style.
You can dress it down with runners, or throw on a pair of pumps and a jacket over top and you're ready for a night out!

Summer Activity Attire

Jean shorts and a t-shirt has been my Summer "uniform" for as long as I can remember.
This was my look all Summer when I was growing up playing at the park and terrorizing my parents and neighborhood with my partner in crime, my older brother.
Whether you are out for a walk, biking, attending sporting events or just hanging out with friends, this look is always in style!

Pink Cheetah Dress

Wearing a "Summer Dress" is synonymous with "Summer Style."
A cute dress is the easiest way to beat the heat and look put together!
My favorite thing about a dress is the easy transition between day and night. During the day, a cute sandal or flat work. At night, throwing on a pair of heels takes the dress up a notch and makes the dress, for lack of a better word, dressy!

Skin

Finding a pair of golden colored jeans is hard.
Some are either too light, making it look like you aren't wearing pants at all and others are too orange, making one look like they summer at the Jersey Shore.
These THVM jeans are the perfect in-between to both those extremes!
The mauve color on the inside of these jeans makes the cuff of the denim become the focal point, adding much needed contrast.
