It's Friday, which means it's time for my most cherished activity... Going out to eat! 

Mercato West is one of my most frequented dinner spots, but did you know they have another great restaurant on their market side? 

The restaurant is called  "Pizzevino" and it's the perfect place to go for a quick, delicious bite to eat!

They have a wide selection to choose from including, salad, fries, pizza, and my personal favorite dish... Nutella Pizza!

It's a Dog

I really need to give my parents more credit for their good eye and style when it comes to fashion. 

When they were in New York last year, they brought me back this adorable sweater and shoe set from    "C Wonder. "

How cute is it that the sweater matches the shoes, and that the dog is on both?! I just can't!

The Chanel Brooch

Last year for Christmas, all my Mom wanted was a Chanel brooch. 

Turns out, she didn't like the brooch I got her, and classified it as "too blingy." Needless to say...the brooch is now mine! 

However, when paired with a casual sweater, you can barely notice the bling!

The brooch adds the right amount of sparkle to any outfit, and is an investment piece you will truly have forever!

Girl Cute vs. Guy Cute

There is a big difference between what a girl thinks is cute versus what a guy thinks is cute.

The perfect example of that is a pair of overalls! 

When my "guy friend" saw me in them the other day, he said "Huhh, the overalls again?" 

Then, a couple hours later, a girl working in a coffee shop complimented me on them.

Overalls are definitely girl cute!! 

Girls dress for other girls approval... I mean, if we dressed for a guys approval, we wouldn't wear clothes at all!

Barbie Girl

When I first found out that Wildfox Couture was collaborating with Barbie, I knew I would love the collection! 

Growing up, Barbie was my favorite! She was a teacher, ballerina, dentist, doctor, veterinarian. lawyer, actress, chef, lifeguard, aerobics instructor, and even a princess...was there anything Barbie couldn't do?! 

Everyone wishes their life could be as great as Barbie's; She has the best hair, cutest clothes, and the hottest boyfriend!

Grey Leather

I previously mentioned that a lady should invest in a piece of leather this Fall season, and I'm still living by that statement! 

It doesn't have to be a leather jacket or pants, a leather skirt is a great alternative! 

A leather skirt is also perfect for the upcoming Holiday season! 

Classic black leather is always beautiful, but when I bought this particular Vince skirt, I loved that the color was grey!

If you haven't bought a piece of leather this season, I highly suggest you do... Or you can put it on your Christmas wish list!!

DVF

There are few women in the fashion industry who are as legendary as Diane Von Furstenberg! True to herself, she is always in pattern and color, ready to go wherever the celebration takes her. 

2014 marks the 40th Anniversary of her iconic 'Wrap Dress," the effortless, feminine silhouette, cult classic! (There is a wrap dress in the Smithsonian, just so you know!) 

Last night, Holt Renfrew Calgary gave us a sneak peek of DVF's Holiday and Resort collection. Filled with bright colors, sparkles, and graphic knits, the DVF woman is sure to turn heads this holiday season! Of course, the wrap dress is a staple, which made an appearance in gorgeous hues and vintage patterns!
