Whenever my family and I travel, our rule for buying something is "Can we buy this at home?" If not, then it's okay to buy it!

That's what happened with this Claudie Pierlot sweatshirt. 

My parents were recently in London, England, and saw the "C" on the sweatshirt and knew it was for me!

The sweatshirt is apparently also for the model Cara Delevingne, because she has been spotted out and about wearing one too!

Clearly, I'm in good company...and my parents have good taste!

My Met Gala Favorites

Last night was the Met Gala! 

The Met Gala is an annual fundraiser to benefit the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. 

It also serves as an opening celebration for the institute's annual fashion exhibit.

The event has been held at the Met since 1971 and is considered to be the fashion industry's premier annual red carpet event.
Each year the event has a theme, and this years theme was "Charles James - Beyond Fashion." 

Charles James was a fashion designer who loved a structured and put-together ascetic.

I will always appreciate a good Italian meal...being the good little Italian girl that I am.

Oprah's Chai

As most likely said by Oprah herself, "You get a Chai, you get a Chai, everyone gets a Chai Teeeaaaaa!!!!" (If you didn't read that in Oprah's "AUSTRALIA" voice, then the joke was lost.)

Oprah can honestly do no wrong, and the same goes for her newly launched Chai Tea at Starbucks.

The tea, which is infused with cinnamon, ginger, and cardamon, is blended with loose leaf black tea making the Chai delicious!

To make the tea even better, for every Oprah Chai product sold at Starbucks, Starbucks will donate to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation! 

Seriously though , Oprah can do no wrong!

Rainy

I spoke too soon about it finally being Spring in YYC.

The good thing about rain is accessorizing an outfit with cute rain-boots!

Rain-boots are fun, adorable, and allow you to jump in puddles at your leisure... I may be notorious for that.

Lamp in the Desert

This "no need for a jacket" weather is my absolute favorite!
I can now wear bright Spring colors, and espadrilles, and not worry about the snow!
I am obsessed with these jeans by Mother Denim. The print is called " Lamp in the Desert," and are perfect for festival season.
They are light, super comfy, and have so much stretch in them!
Definitely my new go-to Spring/Summer denim!
