Flannel

It's safe to say that wearing a flannel around the waist has become a fashion statement.
Whoever started the look, (Kurt Cobain, Rihanna, Kanye West?) has created a flannel trend that is taking over the fashion world!
It's casual, comfy, and adds color to an outfit!

Rag & Bone - Right To Play

Downtown cool brand, Rag & Bone, has partnered with Holt Renfrew's H project.
This collaboration is to benefit the "Right to Play" organization which was founded over 10 years ago, by Johann Koss. "Right to Play" focuses on the importance of play in a child's life, in addition to food and shelter.
Rag & Bone co- founders Marcus Wainwright and David Neville are both young fathers, and could relate to the importance of the "Right to Play" initiative.
The limited edition canvas totes (available in black, cream, and olive) were inspired by free spirited surfers of the '60s and '70s.
These sporty totes will be going on sale May 9th, at Holt Renfrew locations across Canada.
The totes are $55 each and Holt Renfrew has a goal of raising $100,000 for the "Right to Play" organization.
Feel free to stop by Holt Renfrew and support "Right to Play." You will  feel good about this purchase and be proud to carry this tote knowing that you made a difference in a child's life!
Love,
Chloe...YYC Belle

Claudie Pierlot

Whenever my family and I travel, our rule for buying something is "Can we buy this at home?" If not, then it's okay to buy it!
That's what happened with this Claudie Pierlot sweatshirt.
My parents were recently in London, England, and saw the "C" on the sweatshirt and knew it was for me!
The sweatshirt is apparently also for the model Cara Delevingne, because she has been spotted out and about wearing one too!
Clearly, I'm in good company...and my parents have good taste!

My Met Gala Favorites

Last night was the Met Gala!
The Met Gala is an annual fundraiser to benefit the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute.
It also serves as an opening celebration for the institute's annual fashion exhibit.
The event has been held at the Met since 1971 and is considered to be the fashion industry's premier annual red carpet event.
Each year the event has a theme, and this years theme was "Charles James - Beyond Fashion."
Charles James was a fashion designer who loved a structured and put-together ascetic.
Below are my top five favorite looks from last nights Met Gala!

Love,
Chloe...YYC Belle

Anna Wintour (Editor and Chief of Vogue, and Chair of the Met Gala)  in Chanel

Sarah Jessica Parker in Oscar de la Renta

Suki Waterhouse (Model)  in Burberry

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds in Gucci

Jay Z and Beyonce in Givenchy

Cibo

I will always appreciate a good Italian meal...being the good little Italian girl that I am.
Cibo offers great dishes to share "Family Style," with friends and family.
The restaurants atmosphere is rustic, yet trendy and social.
The menu has a variety of options making it easy for each person dining out to find something they will love!
If you are looking for a restaurant that offers great food and great conversation, Cibo is the place to try!
