Uncrate India

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting Alexandra Weston, Director of Brand Strategy at Holt Renfrew. As Director of the H Project, she creates programs to showcase unique products that will build the brand's culture and reputation.

Alexandra was in Calgary to promote her latest project, Uncrate India, which is currently on display in a pop up shop inside Holt Renfrew.

Uncrate India highlights and brings awareness to the culture, crafts and artisans from around India.

The event previewed a variety of beautifully displayed items with the vibrant colors of India, through clothing, scarves, jewelry, tote bags, notebooks, just to name a few. Indian cuisine was served and we also had the opportunity to further immerse into the Indian culture with a local Henna tattoo artist on hand.

Share in Alexandra Weston's latest H Project experience at Holt Renfrew, it will be a lot less expensive than a plane ticket to India!

Charcut

I have wanted to eat at Charcut for a long time.

Recently, I had the opportunity to eat there and it did not disappoint!

Charcut is located inside Hotel Germain in downtown Calgary.

The restaurant is trendy and comfortable, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food...Outstanding!

Happy Mother's Day

Rag & Bone - Right To Play

Downtown cool brand, Rag & Bone, has partnered with Holt Renfrew's H project.
This collaboration is to benefit the "Right to Play" organization which was founded over 10 years ago, by Johann Koss. "Right to Play" focuses on the importance of play in a child's life, in addition to food and shelter.
Rag & Bone co- founders Marcus Wainwright and David Neville are both young fathers, and could relate to the importance of the "Right to Play" initiative.
The limited edition canvas totes (available in black, cream, and olive) were inspired by free spirited surfers of the '60s and '70s.
These sporty totes will be going on sale May 9th, at Holt Renfrew locations across Canada.
The totes are $55 each and Holt Renfrew has a goal of raising $100,000 for the "Right to Play" organization.
