Leopard for Fall

This Fall, Calgary has had some really beautiful weather!

As much as I love wearing sweaters, coats and scarves, I'm still not ready to completely let go of Summer.

Leopard print has had a good run for the past few years, and I'm happy to say that it's here to stay!

Lucky for me, this Trina Turk leopard top is transitional between every season.

The colour and style are versatile enough to wear all year long, making it an easy go-to piece in my closet.

Hat Day

Some hair days are better than others. With that said, today is a hat day!

Luckily, Fall is a hat season!

Sweater and Leather

To me, the perfect Fall outfit involves a sweater paired with some sort of leather.

Whenever the temperature gets a little cooler out, all I think of is "yes...it's finally sweater and leather weather!"

I have mentioned the importance of leather for Fall and Winter before, but I truly believe investing in a pair of leather pants is something one will not regret.

Not only will leather never go out of style, (fun fact: my Mom had leather maternity pants, and that was 21 years ago!) you automatically make an outfit more edgy when wearing leather!

A cool Fall day in a sweater and leather...what is better?!

Fall Furs

I can honestly say that I have never played in any "Fur Department," in any store, ever!

With that said, it was rather enjoyable, as I felt I was being hugged by a teddy bear all afternoon!

For Fall, furs are a must!

Throwing a fur vest or jacket overtop of an outfit is the epitome of chic, and can take an outfit to a new level.

Don't hate me PETA, I love faux fur too!

It's Friday, meaning I plan to end my work week with my favorite thing: A delicious meal!
I recently went to Cassis Bistro for the first time, and I can not wait to go back!

The food was fresh and innovative, and the atmosphere was hip and lively!

The Turtleneck

Ladies, please trust me when I tell you this: Turtlenecks are cool!

The classic saying "what's old is new" comes to play with this trend, making the turtleneck a must have for Fall and Winter!

A turtleneck can both elongate and downplay a neck length depending on the cut.

Some turtlenecks are tight around the neck, while others are loose and drapey. Try on a couple different styles to find the perfect one that works for you!

A turtleneck is favorable to any body type and pretty much does accessorizing for you...no need for an added scarf!
