Chambray and BF Jeans

Many times I find myself thinking "What type of shirt did I wear before I owned a chambray shirt? Did I even wear a shirt?" 

It's quite confusing because for the past couple years, a chambray shirt has been a staple in my wardrobe. 

Truly, a chambray goes with everything! It can be dressed up or dressed down, and transitional between all seasons! 

Finding the perfect boyfriend jean is hard to do. 

I don't like my jeans too baggy, so finding the "7 For All Mankind, Josefina jean," has been a BF jean game changer. 

They are described as "skinny boyfriend," meaning they have a skinny leg, with room through the hip and thigh!

I always love a good floral print!

A print that has a great selection of colors in it always makes matching easy...and we all know how much I appreciate a good match!

Hey Mickey

I love anything Disney related! 

I was at Zara a few weeks ago and saw the Mickey Mouse ears on this shirt from afar...I knew this shirt had to be mine! 

Keeping this outfit all black and white allows for any statement accessory (in any color), like my blue Moschino belt. 

The belt adds a pop of color and makes the outfit more exciting!

Valentino Trunk Show at Holt Renfrew Calgary

Question: What makes me happier than a pair of new shoes? 

Answer: Not much!

Even though Fall is in full swing, one can't help but dream of new Spring shoes.

Holt Renfrew Calgary hosted a Pre-Spring Valentino Trunk Show. To say every pair of shoes is amazingly beautiful is an understatement! 

Valentino shoes are the perfect mix of girly and edgy. 

The styles are classic and feminine, but the added studs give the shoes an edge!

The Great One

I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend! I ate myself into a food coma, I also had the opportunity to meet a hockey legend. 

Wayne Gretzky was in Calgary on Saturday for the launch of his Breitling Chronomat GMT Limited Edition watch! 

Only 99 watches were produced and ten percent of proceeds go to the Wayne Gretzky Foundation to provide less fortunate youth the opportunity to play hockey. 

Wayne Gretzky has been affiliated with Breitling for over eight years. His passion for hockey, kids, and beautiful timepieces come together perfectly in this limited edition collaboration. 

It was a pleasure to meet "The Great One" and to see the amount of support he received towards his foundation!

Thanksgiving Ready

My Canadian friends, this weekend kicks off the holiday season...THANKSGIVING HERE WE COME! 

I plan to eat my body weight in Turkey and Stuffing; I am also planning my outfit. 

Yes, I want to wear something that suits the season, but I still want to be comfortable.

(Stretchy materials are a must when planning to eat an enormous meal!) 

My family and I tend to dress more casually for Thanksgiving, so jeans with maximum stretch are key! A fur vest adds the seasonal Fall touch to the look, making this outfit perfect for Thanksgiving dinner with the fam!
