Happy Monday, friends!

After a long weekend of celebration for the 1st Birthday of YYC Belle, all I want to do today is wear a comfy outfit!

Rails LA makes THE BEST plaid shirts in the game with the softest material that washes so well!  

I found that out when I spilled coffee all over one of mine... So trust me! 

If anyone has a chance to pick up these J.Crew jeans, (they're on sale now) I highly suggest you do! They are a great wash and the patched detail is so "in" right now!

YYC Belle Turns One

I can't believe a year ago today I started YYC Belle!

Starting YYC Belle has created lots of opportunities for me, which I am very grateful for.

Any outfit that involves denim, plaid, and leather, I'm into, and this outfit does just that!

Mixing textures to a look adds much more depth to an outfit and makes the end result more exciting! 

This look is transitional between day or night, by just changing the sneakers to a pump!

Letterman

I wear this jacket all the time... As previously mentioned, I've had this jacket since I was 12.

Winter White

"Winter White" is a trend I love yet rarely wear... Mainly because I would most likely spill something on the light colored ensemble!

However, I was brave enough to wear my version of "Winter White" in Calgary's slushy weather and I can report that my jeans are in perfect condition!

Bag Bug and Ballerina Bun

Exciting news for you all, I got a new chambray shirt! 

I can talk about the benefits of having a chambray shirt in ones' wardrobe forever, so let's talk about the furry little creature on my handbag. 

Fendi has been going through  a monster phase, and it has evolved to accessories. 

They are called "Bag Bugs," made of Mink and Fox, and I am in love with them! 

Be prepared to see my bug daily... It was pretty expensive, so I have to get my moneys worth!

Collegiate

I graduated from university over a year ago and for some reason I dress more collegiate now than ever before. Maybe I just really miss the days of essays, group projects, and really greasy food? 

This Stella McCartney sweater is a true collegiate kids dream!

The grey goes with everything, yet the patchwork is colorful and exuberant enough to showcase some personality... Sir Paul McCartney should be proud of his daughter for this design!
