The Oscars: A place where really pretty people dress up in the prettiest gowns making them even

prettier. 

That being said, the Oscars Red Carpet may be more enjoyable for me than the actual Oscar ceremony!

Happy Friday, everyone!!! 

Weekends are when I indulge... and this weekend I'm planning to indulge with some Corbeaux goodies! 

Located on 17th Ave, Corbeaux has delicious pastries and exceptional breads! 

If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, I highly recommend going to Corbeaux for a bite! Better yet, get it to go and you can eat it at home in your pajamas (my plan!)

Distressed is Best

The whole "distressed jean trend" is getting out of control... and I LOVE it! 

Ripped jeans are the easiest way to make a look more edgy. 

I'm not the edgiest dresser, so pairing these FRAME Denim jeans with a pink sweatshirt was just natural for me! 

These jeans are definitely not the most "work appropriate," so if you love torn jeans as much as me, I'd wait to wear them on the weekend!

Leather Skirt and Saint Laurent

Is their anything better than leather? 

Instead of always wearing jeans, a leather skirt is a welcome change for the transition into Spring. 

Enough about the skirt though... Look at my new Saint Laurent shoes!!!!

These babies were purchased in Hawaii at a stand alone Saint Laurent store and I've been dying to wear them!!

Thankfully, Calgary is letting me wear cute shoes again...For this week at least!

Belle Soiree

Black, Burgundy, and a Bag Bug

With Valentine's Day being only a few days away, wearing colors with a "reddish" tone has been my theme the past couple of days.

Burgundy is a great color alternative to pinks and reds!
